Kaydon Bearings receives Bell Helicopter Premier Supplier Award

Muskegon, Michigan, USA...Kaydon Corporation (NYSE:KDN) today is honored to announce that the Kaydon Bearings Division has received the prestigious Bell Helicopter Premier Supplier Award. Bell Helicopter, a Textron Company, awards this annually in recognition of suppliers with superior business processes and world class quality standards. In order to qualify for the Premier status a supplier must meet numerous standards that include being AS9100 certified, delivering high-quality materials on a 98 percent frequency rate or higher, and score very high on a cross-functional inspection conducted on-site by a specialized Bell team.

The Bell Premier Supplier Award is another method Bell Helicopter is using to improve and increase its ability to meet customer demand. Through this process Bell identifies and recognizes suppliers that are contributing to the production of improved quality and quantity of their products.
