Kaydon makes the news with contributions to NASA Curiosity rover Muskegon, Michigan, USA...When NASA's Curiosity rover landed successfully on Mars earlier this month, it made international news—with a local twist. Kaydon's Reali-Slim® bearings are helping the rover move and collect material samples, which caught the attention of West Michigan's WXMI-TV FOX17. Rob Roos, senior product engineer, and Scott Hansen, vice president of manufacturing, were featured on FOX17 news on August 14, explaining what makes Kaydon thin-section bearings the ideal choice for the rover. Watch the video below or read the FOX17 news story.
